Reviving rock with booming shows, Highway Terrier have been making a name for themselves in Davis, California. The band was featured at UC Davis's Brainfreeze concert as student openers for Juno-nominated artist Luna Li. Christian Bush is a powerhouse on lead vocals with his signature roar, Johnny Moeller's unmistakable attack at the kit is a muscle like no other, and Jonah Kalmar's smooth basslines simply make one smile. Kelly May’s vocals fly from operatic to pensive to angry, and flutist CJ Borges will transport you to the Summer of Love. Guitarist Ben Sherstinsky recorded the debut EP, playing all instruments and writing all the music on almost every song, singing lead on two. ‘Covid Blues,' a fan-favorite, was inspired by Ben catching the sickness often.
