Viewed your software engineer video and agreed with what you said about the craft being all consuming. There is a constant need to learn and relearn techniques, tools, and templates. I am blessed to have entered the business in the mainframe era through our current cloud and subscription based models, but its all dependent on the coding skills of programmers, data, and release teams. As a manager now I try to keep my teams fresh by managing client delivery expectations. I have found that this approach provides lifestyle, skill retool. and family time pursuits to avoid burning-out our teams while giving the customer the product they need. It has also allowed me to avoid churn and burn managers and development shops.

Yo. Just came across this vid, of yours saying all about the reality of a software engineer I appreciate it. You know I felt little odd, frustrated and all... must admit started to enjoy it... but there's just so many things at times I struggle with and feel to quit. But I cant....π§

Hi Gyasi I personally appreciate your openness about some of the challenges that comes with being in the tech industry, but I like to know how long will it take for someone fresh in programing to write a useable/working code successful.
