I’m glad he’s retiring because he said himself he worked so hard and didn’t spend enough time with his family. Now that he has so much money, he can finally take care of them the way he wants to

Bruh this one really hit like a truck. This is a wierd feeling knowing that new fnaf games won't be made by scott. Man fnaf was a decent part of my childhood and its a wierd feeling to see it go for good. Goodbye scott.

I'm super sad. Is Steel wool still. Making the future games, then fnaf may not die. Sometimes when companies take over from the Og creators of a game, movie, book, whatever, it goes downhill . If steel wool is continuing, then fnaf should be fine

I kinda figured it would happen eventually, and honestly it’s for the best. For his mental health and such. He was such a great developer, I’m sure he’s inspired a whole generation to make games themselves. What a legend o7

It’s bittersweet, I’m glad to see that Scott can rest now knowing he’s done and he can spend time fully with his family, but it’s honestly sad to see such a influence on the gaming industry be gone, and fuck the people who tried to cancel him and essentially be the catalyst for such because of his political beliefs. If anyone of this jackasses who did such is reading this, learn to separate politics from someone’s career and personality unless their in politics, you harm people’s careers and make yourselves look unlikeable. Anyway stay cool Scott, we all love you.

I'm somewhat mad because this kind of means the cancellers won.

I'm sad to see Scott Cawthon go. He announced he has retired from game development. Thank you Scott for Five Nights at Freddy's.
