Is it possible for someone to die of hypothermia if the core body temperature drops to let's say....95.8 degrees? What about 95.2 degrees? Who's to say Kenneka didn't die from a heart attack? Hypothermia without a core body temperature reading, is like saying someone is killed by a gunshot without ever locating a gunshot wound.

The Medical Examiner's role is to determine time, manner, and cause of death whenever possible.

@Amp Eazy I speculate that, that is why they took so long to make a ruling. They could not determine time. The ruling was eventually based on the lesions in Kennekas organs that are only caused by hypothermia and only seen in Hypothermia deaths. When summers visited on the night, one would have thought that he would have taken her temperature there and then but there is no record of it.
