@Amp Eazy It has been clear from the beginning, that the police were not interested in investigating Kennekas' case as anything else but an accidental death. The reactions they got from the family and the public were unexpected and I think they simply went through the motions until the medical examiner could be persuaded to make the accidental death ruling.

Exhibit 2: Rosemont Public Safety Police purposefully reached out to Target Forensics to have all these "clarifications" and "enhancements" done to the Facebook Live video. Once again....simply to have YOU believe that they were being very thorough. Some of the requests made to Target Forensics originate from social media speculation, with absolutely no purpose in an actual professional investigation. It seems they were very much aware of the importance of obtaining authentic, native format files. Take a look at how they describe the files they sought from Facebook. But they didn't keep this same energy for the Crowne Plaza and the surveillance video footage huh? (If you read over this request enough times, you should begin to understand how comical of a "request for services" it really is)
