Lyft is already slated to leave California, so who knows if Uber will 'take advantage' of the situation, but at the same time, it would be a huge setback for both the company and the drivers to change them up from independent contractors to full/part-time employees.

If they have to hire (in reality they don't) they will use temp agencies so that they never have to pay insurance, ECT! This is an ugly loophole.

Not sure what to think but California is their biggest economy and its shutdown for a 2nd time. Buisnesses will really be hurting for a long time. But they also had 2 billion to buy Postmates
