It is officially October 26th 2019, and that means Red Dead Redemption II is officially ONE year old today! In case it wasn’t obvious, I decided over the last couple of weeks that I should probably try to tie in the conclusion of my Commentary videos with the game’s first anniversary, so I apologize for dropping so many so quickly, but it only made sense to upload today’s video on October 26th. Hard to believe a year has passed already, it legitimately feels like yesterday we were in launch day hype mode and I was pumping out those 30 straight Red Dead Daily videos.

Since then, I’ve created literally HUNDREDS of videos dedicated to this game and I basically haven’t put it down since the day it came out. To say this game has changed my life would be an understatement.  I can’t remember any game in recent memory pulling me into its world quite like this one. I thought the days of sitting down in front of the TV and escaping into a video game world for weeks and weeks were over. Something I could fondly remember as a part of my childhood, but never truly experience again. Well, Rockstar proved me wrong with this game. I think it says a lot that a year has now passed and I still have the patience to not only play this game every day, but also write and edit videos about it at the same time. I say it a lot, but RDR2 really is the game that keeps on giving.

I hope you all enjoy today’s Commentary video, where I go through Red Dead Redemption 2’s  emotional finale. The game really speaks for itself, but I also give my thoughts on Arthur’s story after an entire year to think about it. This really is one of the greatest games ever made, and Arthur is quite possibly the best written protagonist in gaming history. What. A. Ride.

Of course, most of you know that while this is the end of the main story… the game isn’t QUITE over yet. We have a bit more to go, and as I release Commentary videos for the game’s Epilogue, I’ll attempt to gather all of my thoughts on the game’s conclusion and its overall influence, one year later. Trust me, I still have a lot to say, since I was left mostly speechless experiencing that ending all over again!

I’m hoping to finish the game’s epilogue and have all of those Commentary videos up by the time RDR2 is released for PC on November 5th, as I wouldn’t want to be uploading late game videos during a time where new players may be browsing the channel. The celebration won’t stop there, as I already have a ton of fun video ideas for the PC version that you won’t want to miss!

As always, I hope you all enjoy the videos, thank you all for your ongoing support and Happy Birthday Red Dead Redemption 2! :)
