Connect Culture

Despite what many people believe, Connect Culture isn't just one guy behind the camera. It's a beautiful and outrageous collaboration of different cultures clashing together to create something beautiful. At this refugee camp in Tijuana, cultures from all over the world (not just Central America, believe it or not) come together to recognize their common humanity, to rise above their trauma and heartbreak, and work alongside those who for some, are native to warring countries. I've never seen a place so broken yet so beautiful, and today, being down there reminded me so much of what Connect Culture means to me, and how this entire movement is a collaborative effort to connect cultures.
