Dr. Bill, thank you very much for your videos! I'm hoping you can have a section with Bible words. I'm hoping I can interpret during church services. Thanks again!

I started my BA major in Deaf Studies at Gallaudet University since Fall 2020, I do a lot of ASL searching in YouTube and yours came across and I love it so much! I read the book for one of my class called Sign Language Structures and Contexts. Your video applies on many. You inspire me with your energy and how much each students enjoy with you. Ill continue watching your videos and learn as I go. I am Deaf, mainstreamed with SImCom.. then I learned ASL in 2010, work at Gallaudet 2014, became a student in 2018, declared my major in Deaf Studies 2020 and minor in Psychology for BA. Thank you for sharing linguistics in ASL, it helps me pass the course! :-)

Dr. Bill I just want to thank you for your dedication to teaching other people sign language. I study your videos all the time and they are a big help to me. I wish to be an interpreter and your videos help me to understand what it takes. The way you format your videos, I feel like I'm in class with you and the words/signs I learn stick with me. Thanks a million sir!!!

Dr. Bill, I'd like to thank you for your amazing work . Your educational videos have been instrumental in my learning this wonderful language. I can remember as a young child, I had always been fascinated by watching an interpreter interpet a national event or even an expected weather system. I began my quest for knowledge after finding you on utube and have been absorbing all I can. I've completed many of your lessons and I've become a life long student in this incredible language. P. S. Your method and style of teaching is outstanding! Best wishes!!

Hi Bill! I have recently taken up the challenge of learning ASL. I don't know, nor have I ever met, someone who is deaf. Ive just had a real desire to learn ASL. I'm learning from youtube videos, and after trying a few I watched one of yours. I was hooked right away. 14 lessons in, and I'm loving loving every video. You make learning ASL easy and fun. Love your humor and patience. Keep up the amazing work ✌

Dr. Vicars, you are amazing. We just made a LP donation. We have paid for two ASL classes and neither has this much thought out content. We used this program to learn and THEN took our test on our own program at school. We passed with an A. It's very difficult to find content - even in our own ASL school material where you learn words and then practice them in a sentence. Your engaging, funny and everyone I have shown your videos to just loves you so much. Thank you so very much for offering this valuable material that you just can't get elsewhere. PERFECTION!

General conversation structure? Like what to add and what to leave out when having a conversation. Also, describing things would be useful

You have been a wealth of knowledge for decades! I remember learning ASL in middle school with you as the main star 🌟 I'm 35 now, while you helped me understand the plight of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community and communicate with my god-parents. I appreciate that. Now I have been training my dog in ASL, but it's hard to find any videos dedicated to this topic. Can you help point me in the right direction? I KNOW that video, if one does exist will be a viral video for years

I'm trying at 60! It's good that YouTube allows you to adjust speed of videos - I need to adjust for wayyyy slower. Enjoying the lessons! Thank you, Dr Bill!
