Her abilities look cool, although similar to Camille in a way. She could've looked more doll like, especially since it's only a fragment of Isolde's soul going into her.

The true is, riot doesn't know or don't want to make interesting champion designs anymore, don't get me wrong i like the characters and all but for example, viego, i think for a ruined king she should at least be old, wise, and not a just a raging teen, seems like all new champions are just human figures who have some goals there's no depth

Riot didn't want to make Gwen overly dolly bc they didn't want to release new Shaco or Orianna. Instead they wanted to make her like a doll transformed into human (like Pinocchio). I hope this answers the design questions

I see so many people complaining about the design of her and how she's not doll like enough and how we need more void creatures. all of these are very valid points but I personally am very excited by the looks of her gameplay, she looks like a very mobile flashy champion that I would actually enjoy playing (I personally just don't really feel it when it comes to camille, irellia etc). Along with being an AP champion for the top lane it makes me personally very happy, I also heard she was intended to be a bruiser, I hope she can lean into more of a tanky disruptive playstyle than the assassin/duelist playstyle a lot of similar champions fall into.
