Many of you know me, or don't, but in the early '10s i used to run this YouTube page uploading videos about unsigned and soon to be signed up and coming bands, i did it with Northlane, Adestria, Dark Sermon (back then known as "In Reference to a Sinking Ship"), Of Virtue, etc.
Been constantly slowing down with uploading and active social presence because being at University, having to put some things on hold incluiding this.
But this isn't profitable for me anymore, now that bands are more in handy with streaming and small record labels can now provide with putting their music, or the band putting their music themselves in different platforms. It's easier than it was 10 years ago. Before there was as we know it, used to take some spare time from school and homework to do it, i did it because i liked the band and i wanted to more people hear about them, the whole time i did this, it was 100% non-profit, i never made a cent about this. And I don't regret ever doing it for free.
And i wish i could retain the page as just to update people with my recent discoveries or any other music topic, or new music update. But i am too busy with work and my master degree that I don't even have time.
So, with no further adieu, I'm shutting down this facebook page tomorrow at 10pm EST. My time has come.
I started this decade with the facebook page and I'm going to end with it.
The YouTube page is still going to remain with the videos i uploaded, as i occasionally post videos of the concerts I attend.
I want to take all the bands that lend me their stuff and put a trust in me, specially Of Virtue, who are the most down to earth guys and glad they now have their moment in the sun at SharpTone, i have the Heartsounds CD you emailed me, one of the few albums i didn't get rid of or sold to another person.
