How do you feel about having some high level match analysis on the channel?

At the moment, my internet provider is having serious issues in my area and I have barely been able to play DBFZ (or any fighting game for that matter) for weeks now. Usually the topics and content of my videos come directly from my experiences playing and trying to improve... but since I can't really play right now, I'm at a bit of a loss. I think one of the most productive things I can do currently is to watch some high level footage, analyze unique situations / decision making, and talk about what we can all learn from it. I don't want to upload "reactions" to an entire long set, mostly because I feel that it's disrespectful to the players and organizers of the matches (unless I get permission of course). Instead, I'd like to highlight specific situations that come up, talk about why they're important, and maybe go into training mode to break it all down even more.

Let me know what you honestly think of that. You won't hurt my feelings!

I acthally prefer discussion topics and insight over just watching gameplay. Breaking down matches, and moments in a critical view is totally something im into. Plus as they say the best way to learn is to teach, doing this may be a great way to improve your own game with the way of thinking and option selects. Would love for this

Yes I would love this! It would be very cool to see you analyze nationals since you couldn’t stream it and your reactions and analysis on them would be great!

Analyzing decision making and mind games would be great, as I think this is at the top of the pyramid chart when it comes to the layers of fighting games. This will also dive into strategies, baits, and timings that advanced players use and players of all skill levels could learn from and implement into their own game.

@D9bi

Honestly that sounds like a great way to learn things. I’m totally down for these types of videos

@billhicks2498

Sounds good. I enjoy that type of content from other people, so seeing you do it in your own way would be awesome.

Nice idea, I really like it. After 3 years of game, and many tournaments I saw, sometimes I really can't know what is happening in a pro matches, and being DBFZ my real first introduction in FGC, I'll be waiting for this match analysis

@ReRaze_Over9000

Yes, insight. How should we be thinking? Making adjustments and such. I have years of bad habits that are getting me killed in dbfz. 😔

Would love any analysis of Nationals on your channel. Whether it’s the actual matches, team comps, etc you have a lot of valuable knowledge on this game and would have great input

I Would honestly love if this became regular on your channel, things like that help Players like me understand the game on a deeper level and the intricacies that go into high level play we need to improve on, and its just interesting

I would love this

I'd really like match analysis of some of the championship games, there's a lot of weird situations where it's hard to tell if it's lag, an os gone wrong, or a misinput; all of which would be cool to look at. Sage for example got some minor shade for tea bagging after using UI 214H I think, when he swore he was just buffering super jump. Definitely other moments stand out but I can't think of any on the top of my head 🤔

An interesting choice of options we have here .. as if the video was already finished up 😆

Haha I think the 93% vote speaks for itself. That sounds like an excellent way to use your downtime and (if you decide to do it) I greatly look forward to it :)

Can you do a “rate my team” type of video? I play 17(A), Bluegeta (C) Janemba (A). That’s the team I want to run, but I’m not sure those assists are optimal. I’d love to hear your thought process with a team like that

Are you srsly asking if we want more content? Who do you think we are? Gimme. Just keep it clear and transparant about your sit and people are gonna understand. Not sure how relevant it is, but I would like to see something about blockstrings regarding spacing, mashing, cross-ups, throws and timing. Especially the staredown into DR seems to hit a lot of good players on defense, likely due to respecting other options. I think specifically high level matches has a lot of varied and interesting block situations.

Curious, where will you pull matches from? Compilation channels like Xuses, Yogaflame, and GGOTUBE, content creators like Dotodoya or ArGin, pro streams, or using DBFZ's in game replay channels? Or a combination of them?
