This was like a cartoon and I thought it was great. Short, pretty, and to the point! It had so much charm and the goofy pirate esthetic was perfect. I noticed small nods to video game culture like noises and the speech bubble icon. I did not have to understand the language to know what was going on so that was great as well. Very goofy & raspy job voices the main pirate and all the other victims. What a piece of work :)

I'd absolutely watch it with no context if it was a tv series. The physical comedy and environment clues helped me laugh and enjoy every moment. To me it was Fan-Boy and Chumchum meets The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, so I loved every second.
