What is your preferred method for flashing Tasmota onto Tuya devices? Do you use Tuya Convert and do it over the air, or do you prefer to connect wires to a USB-to-Serial adapter and use Tasmotizer or esptool?

I'm making a video all about Tuya. I'm going to show three different ways to convert Tuya devices to Tasmota, so I want to know how you prefer to do it.

One of the methods I'm going to show is replacing the entire Tuya module with something like a D1 Mini so that even incompatible devices can be converted.

I use tuya-convert when it works, especially for more awkwardly sealed devices. Otherwise I've avoided most ha stuff of late unless it's easily opened. Ended up making my own stuff because no longer works, hit and miss, no no longer ESP8266 based products :( Looking forward to the video:)

The results of this have been interesting. It started out skewed towards Tuya Convert, then direct wiring pulled ahead, now Tuya Convert is the leader again!

I'll give Tuya Convert a go (I have a dedicated old R.Pi setup for this purpose), and if that doesn't work I'll pull out the FTDI interface. Have managed to avoid any Realtek devices that I can open so far (I have some MR16 bulbs I can't open or TuyaConvert)
