I just got one of these myself, and I gotta say it’s very reassuring to see professionals like you talking it up.

Now you have yet another license for Resolve! Yay! :). Enjoy the camera! My only issue with it is the way the heat venting is done on the bottom that limits the plate you can use and it does not really hold like a DSLR where you can have your hand on the grip and the other on the lens barrel.

It’s a nice detail to see that one of my favorite directors is also a camera nerd on YouTube, like other creators I enjoy on this site :D

I wonder if I should make the move from my BMMCC to this one or wait for BMMCC upgrade... I have mainly Nikon lenses. I always wonder if the form factor would be much more compact without an external monitor... Hmmm. Anyway, have fun.

To celebrate the wrap of principal photography on Shazam 2 I treated myself to a new toy. The behind the scenes crew was using one of these and I needed to get one myself.
It’s kind of become a tradition. After Lights Out I bought the original pocket camera (and shot some additional photography on it). After Annabelle Creation I bought the Ursa Mini 4.6K (and shot an additional shot on it). After Shazam I bought the Pocket 4K (didn’t shoot anything myself for that movie though).
