Q. 채널 이름이 왜 선데인가요?
Why is your channel named "Sundae"?

A. 저희 밴드의 이름이 선데(Sundae)이기 때문이에요. 사실 유튜브를 시작하기 전부터 저희는 이미 밴드 활동을 하고있었거든요..! 앨범도 내고, 다양한 공연도 해왔습니다. 그러다 좀 더 접근성이 좋은 유튜브를 활용하여 많은 사람과 음악을 공유하고 싶어서 유튜브를 시작하게 되었어요. 밴드 이름이 선데인 이유는 아이스크림처럼 부드럽고 기분 좋은 음악을 들려드리고자 생각한 이름입니다. 한국분들은 순대라는 음식과 스펠링이 같아서 저희를 순대라는 애칭으로도 불러주신답니다ㅎㅎ

As you all know, the name of our band is Sundae and we just named after it.
We used to perform offline before we started Youtube.
We had lots of gigs and released an album also!
And then we decided to begin youtube to share our music to more people.
We named ‘Sundae’ after the name of icecream cuz we wanted to provide soft and pleasant songs.
Korean fans call us the name of food ‘Sundae’(It sounds like ‘soondae’) cuz they have similar pronunciation.



Q. 가장 좋아하는 한국 가수와 롤모델이 있다면?

Who's your favorite K-pop singer/group? and who's your role model?

A. 저희는 모든 K-pop 가수들을 좋아해요! 너무 식상한 대답일지 모르겠지만 사실입니다. 걸그룹, 보이그룹 가리지 않고 좋아해요..ㅎㅎ 다들 멋지고 예쁘잖아요💕
롤모델로 생각하는 그룹을 정할 순 없지만, 많은 사람이 저희 노래를 듣고 싶어 하고 좋아하는 밴드가 되고 싶어요!

We love and respect all K-pop singers and groups!
Ya, It sounds boring but true.
They are all magnificent, wonderful, and cool.💕
We can’t decide which group is our role model, but we want to be a band that people want to listen to our songs.


Q. 가장 좋아하는 가수는 누구인가요?
How about favorite singer?


태린: 전 자주 바뀌는데.. 요즘은 션 멘데스씨의 노래를 많이 들어요!!

소원: 퀸이요.

Taerin : Well, it changes most of the time but for now I listen to Shawn Mendes a lot. Like a lot a lot

Sowon : Queen. Obviously. All hail the Queen


Q. 영어 노래 더 할 예정있으신가요?
Would you like to cover more pop songs in the future?

A. 영어 노래를 할 예정은 당연히 있습니다!!
저희도 팝송을 많이 듣고 좋아하거든요.
하지만 영어 노래를 부르는 것은 어려운 일이어서 한국 노래들만큼 많이 커버하고 있지 못한 것이 사실이에요😂.
하지만 저희 채널을 시청해주시는 분들이 다양한 국적을 가진 것을 인지하고 있기에 영어로 된 노래도 많이많이 준비할 예정입니다.
또 기회가 된다면 영어 노래 이외에 다른 언어의 노래도 커버할 수 있도록 노력할게요!!

Yes of course! We love pop songs. But as you all may know, it is kinda hard for us to sing perfectly in English and that refrains us from covering pop songs more than K-pop
Nevertheless, we recognize the foreign fans of ours and try hard to sing pop songs in the future.
Also, we would very much love to cover songs in other languages. Not only English and Korean, but also other languages



Q. 다른 나라에 가본 적 있나요? 가보고 싶은 나라가 있다면?

Have you ever been abroad? If not, what are the countries would you like to visit?


태린: 저는 꽤 다양한 나라를 여행해봤어요! 요즘에는 아일랜드나 동남아시아 쪽의 나라를 가보고 싶어요.

소원: 태린 만큼은 아니지만 조금 다녀봤어요. 저는 영국이나 남미를 가보고 싶어요.

Taerin : I’ve travelled many countries in various places. Nowadays, I wish I could go to Ireland or Southeast Asia.

Sowon: I’ve been to few countries too but not as much as Taerin. I want to go UK or South America.



Q. 한국 사람인가요?

Are you Korean?

A. 네 저희는 한국 사람입니다!

Yes, we are Korean.


Q.둘이 어떻게 만났나요?
How did you guys meet?

A. 저희는 같은 대학교를 나왔어요. 대학교의 밴드 동아리에서 선후배로 만나게 되어 함께 밴드를 하는 사이가 되었네요..!

We went to same university. We met in a band club as Senior and Junior and we started up a band...!


Q. 인도네시아나 발리 아시나요?
Are you familiar with indonesia? Or bali?

A. 네! 당연히 알고 있습니다. 저는 아직 가보지 못했지만 언젠간 꼭 가보고 싶은 나라 중 하나에요!

Absolutetly! We have never been there, but it's a place where we would love to go one day


Q. 노래하는 태린이 기타 칠 줄 아나요?
Can you play a guitar? Taerin?

태린: 아니요.. 전 기타를 치지 못해요. 배우고 싶지만 번번히 실패 중입니다..

소원: 그날 밤이라는 노래를 만들 때 태린이가 기타를 쳤어요. 여기까지만 말씀 드리겠습니다.

Taerin: No… I can’t play the guitar. I want to but it doesn't looking promising

Sowon: Actually when we wrote our song ‘The night’, Taerin played guitar.


Q. 소속사랑 계약할 건가요?
Are you gonna sign to an agency?

A. 아직은 예정이 없습니다.

We don’t have any plans yet.


Q. 좋아하는 음식과 색이 있다면?
What’s your favorite food/color?

태린: 전 음식은 진짜 다 좋아하는데.. 하나 못 고르겠어요. 좋아하는 색은 보라색, 검은색을 좋아합니다.

소원: 음식은 고기면 다 좋아해요. 좋아하는 색은 보라색!

Taerin : I love all kinds of food… I can’t pick one. I love purple and black.

Sowon: I love meat, and I love purple!
