Hi everyone, I shared an update regarding my series over on Twitter, but thought I'd better do the same here.

I've come to a big, but difficult decision to cut Season 3 early. Salty Life is now the Season finale. The main reason is because I am no longer enjoying filming on a layout and have become unhappy with the direction I'm going. Layouts have been convenient all this time, but now I find them inconvenient and limiting to film on. It limits the locations I can feature, which in turn limits what episodes I can make and I have so many ideas I want to explore. In addition, I don't like how my episodes are presented when filmed on a layout. I much prefer my projects filmed on sets and find them to be far superior. For that reason, I'm making the switch to film my series on sets instead of layouts.

I've been wanting to make this change for awhile, but wanted to wait until the end of the season before doing so. However, since I'm not enjoying filming, I'm constantly procrastinating, meaning I'm getting no closer to the end and have ended up in a vicious cycle. Cutting the season early means I can finally move on and make content I want to make and, more importantly, be happy doing so.

My plan going forward is to build a new layout just for fun as I've been wanting to for so long, then make some smaller, simpler videos before moving on to filming new episodes using sets. Videos you can expect to see include one of the aforementioned layout, an updated collection video, more Custom Spotlights and a return to Brio Thomas & Friends Discussions, plus a few minor projects. I can't promise when this will happen as I have so much going on in my personal life currently and can't devote as much time to video-making as I'd like despite all the plans I've in place.

I want to thank you all for your support over the years and hope you will join me in this next phase of my channel. I for one am excited to see where these changes lead and above all, to enjoy making videos again. Thank you for reading, stay safe and I'll see you all soon!

Your layouts were incredible, but I understand why you want to make that switch. It is easier to film on sets in my opinion. Can't wait to see what you have in store for the future.

Hi there Sodorfan2k10. I want to start my own series. And I need some opinions. Do you think it will be easy to have one table or multiple tables to build scenes on. Like tidmouth sheds or Brendam docks
