How long should our fireplace videos be?

I'll take whatever you give me. Your ~2 hr. campfire video is one of my favorites. That is long enough to help me off to slumber, regardless how ready or unready I am to sleep. Your video qualities are fantastic.

90 minutes to 2 hours is all I need. Queuing it to replay isn't a problem either. I would like a wood stove though. Hearing the metal expand and contract is one of the most comforting sounds that I know of.

6-8 hours, I've noticed that it takes me a while to fall asleep but every time it stops I wake up.

@Hermit2033

8 hours is good for sleepers, because that's the max sleep you should be getting.

@Neutravo

Around 4-5 hours, long enough to fall asleep within that timeframe, and short enough to wake up after the video has ended.

Definitely 10 hours to ensure that it isn't shorter than a good night's sleep for most people. Since ads are likely to play when it's over, and some ads have wildly varying volume, we might be woken up painfully by a too-short video.

4 hours is plenty long for me, the fire crackling and some thunder make it nice, real time is important.

@1000wastedwords

2 hours is a sleep cycle. Could be good for naps.

@OdeeOz

1 to 4 hours is fine, with background music included. If only ambient fire crackle noise, up to an hour that can be looped. :D

6 hours. A solid amount of study time.

i love your fireplace videos, however long they are (but i voted for 8 hrs. because that's good, long, uninterrupted stretch of writing or sleeping in peace)!

I use it for ambience, so the longer the better 😸

The fire should be a little bit louder to sound like an actual fireplace
