So sorry you’ve had to go through all that my guy, 2020 and 2021 just haven’t been merciful at all. I actually just recently started rewatching your videos so this is pleasant news and I’m wishing you a speedy recovery! Love your work, dude ❤️🍒

Take as much time as you need, I’ll always support you! I know what it’s like to have a shit immune system, it sucks when everyone thinks your being lazy or faking being sick to get out of work. Especially when you mix that with anxiety it can absolutely wipe you out in a special way

Take as long as you need, man. Breaks for physical and mental health are way more important than pumping out videos. As someone who's also named Alex and also struggles with mental health issues, I would be a hypocrite if I didn't give you a pass! Stay strong buddy

Sorry you’ve been going through so much. I’ve also been having a pretty bad time overall… Dont wanna sound cliche but it’s probably been the worst 2 years of my life. Almost at the beginning of the pandemic my uncle died on a car crash, found out something terrible about my ex that to this day has me traumatized, my dog of 16 years died, I too got covid like 2 months ago and it took my grandma 2 weeks ago. Things are looking better though and Im really looking forward to new videos from you, I rewatch some of your search of the worst videos form time to time when Im feeling a little down or I cant sleep… It really helps me forget about all the bad stuff and just worry about terrible movies and your charming/funny delivery. Thank you IHE, you make life a little less sad.

Feel better, Alex! I used to get constant colds and would lose my voice for weeks at a time, which sucked cause I am a singer 😞 But here is a "tea" recipe I drink to help me when I am congested and / or having vocal issues: Boil water and add thin slices of oranges, lemon, and ginger. Let it steep for a bit before drinking with honey. For anyone who decides to try it, you'll have to play with the mixture a bit for the right combination of orange, lemon, ginger, and honey, but my general guide is more orange and lemon when my voice is just a bit weak, more ginger when I'm congested, and more honey when my throat is in a lot of pain. I usually adjust for what is bothering me the most at the time. Anyhoo, get lots of rest! See you when you get back

No worries mate I know exactly how it feels to do everything yourself and to have covid and other life problems get in the way. As much as I enjoy your channel and your content you don’t owe us anything and I’m more than happy to be patient as long as you’re taking care of yourself. We all appreciate you Alex and my thoughts go out to the person hit by a car hope they’re feeling better.

I Hate Everything
IHE UPDATE
Hey everyone long time no see. It’s been long enough where I figure I should probably explain what is going on with me. The last few months seem to have aligned in the perfect way to prevent me from making IHE vids. I caught covid for a second time, it didn’t wipe me out as bad as the first bout, however, it still knocked me for a loop. Then shortly after was my second covid jab, which also wiped me out. After that, someone very important to me was hit by a car. They’re fine now but it was a shocking and disruptive event to go through.
It has been a running gag on my channel for years now that I always have a cold. And you won’t believe this but as I write this I am on the recovering end of what I assume is a particularly bad case of the flu. I actually recorded half the audio for my next video, then the day after the flu began and my voice has been ruined ever since while I wait to recover.
All of these viral mishaps (compounded with the general stress of the last couple of years) have left me feeling physically and mentally exhausted and waaaaay behind schedule. I want nothing more than to be back on the grind but if I continued to ignore my health I couldn’t see the long term effects doing me much good.
Unlike a lot of other channels I do everything myself, I write, record and edit everything because that’s the fun part for me. I genuinely appreciate the patience you have shown me over the years, it means a lot to me and inspires me to keep going. I’ve received so many nice messages and support from people asking if I’ve died or vanished, so the least I can do is explain where I’ve been despite the onslaught of overly-sharing cliches so many content creators rely on. Hiring editors is an option, but I find such creativity and joy in the editing stage, and it’s where a lot of the personality and humour come from.
Anyway thanks for reading, I’m anxious to get back to work when my voice has healed. I probably should have written this months ago, but hindsight is 2020. See you soon.
Alex (IHE)
