Let me say something regarding the current state of our community
After Cover corp released the statement yesterday, many hate speeches and harassment posts/comments are flying around popular social media, what I, personally wanted to say is "Don't engage with those posts."
The more you give attention to it, the stronger they will.
Please remember to "IGNORE, BLOCK & REPORT" them and then move on.
And also, as a translator group, we will continue our supports to our beloved Hololive talents, since they're the most important part of our community, we're able to be here because of them, not some second-handed content creators.
We really may not have made many videos featuring Kaichou or Haato and it might sound artificial for us to be talking about this now, but as fellow fans of Hololive and vtubers in general, we would like to dedicate the space here for a bit of our thought and to show our support for them.
Watching them live streaming is a lot of fun, and we feel the need to share some of the moments for others to see as well, and that’s why we are making our videos here. We don’t know whether our videos have contributed much in terms of getting people to know and love those vtubers more, but we always hope they do.
Finally, I hope that Cover will be able to find a solution to this situation.
You might say that I'm too optimistic, but I really hope that, after 3 weeks, they'll just terminate Coco's Bilibili account and let the situation die down on its own.
Whatever happened won’t change us, the only change we gonna make is "to improve our translation skill to the same level as top translation channels out there" and we will continue to support them the way we have been doing.
