Apparently, the Italian government is using the new virus as an excuse to oppress its people, undo the most basic human rights granted by our constitution, and install a "sanitary dictatorship". In this video you can see the police shooting tear gas at human height, against a crowd of absolutely peaceful people (the enterprises forced to close and the families of their workers soon to be unemployed) who were demonstrating peacefully against the forced closures of their shops and buisnesses ordered by the government. In the crowd there were families with women, elderly and children. Freedom of enterprise was a constitutional right, now denied. Freedom to demonstrate peacefully was a constitutional right, now denied.
