Some weird and wonderful shapes in this hollow log I cut down for a neighbour. Any ideas for creative uses?

If you have organic live edgey things in you house already you could make a night stand. Fill or make a top for it. Then cut out rectangles and make drawersboxes to fasten to the drawer fronts. A "trunk of drawers"

Split in half from end to end. Then invert )( and and use as legs for table.

Fill the holes with epoxy resin and make a table?

I made a bee hive of a hollow apple log. No bee's yet.

Cut into discs (cross sections of logs) to make small table tops with live edge. Fill the hollow with molten bismuth. Poor excess bismuth out before it all solidified. Look up bismuth crystals.

Idk about the slab but the hollow trunk could be a nice seated flower planter almost exactly as it sits. Just sit it upright and fill with potting soil

I second John Gladstone. I actually want to get a hollow log and make a resin filled table with a drawer or two under the table top.
