Oooh! Talk about how kung fu movies do these over the top fighting scenes with harnesses and how its actually cool because its a call back from chinese theatre where they would do that all the time.

I would love a breakdown of each category for the academy awards (Cinematography, Production Design, Screenplay, etc...) and what makes a film worthy of being nominated. I know this would take multiple videos but I'd love to hear your opinion about this.

Should a predictable plot in a film be considered a flaw if the execution makes up for it? An example that comes to mind is Into The Spiderverse. The plot itself is a pretty standard superhero origin story, but it’s execution and how it’s being told is totally spectacular. Would I still fault the film for that?

The state of comic book movies, and how long they can dominate the world before getting tired. Or if that day will never come....?

What you think people should think about when they think they see "good cinematography"

Maybe discuss how the MCU has the same sort of tone and has the same people who return and the entire Universe has the same tone and is coherent where as with the DCEU it’s different where each film is of different tone and scale. Like the Aquaman is more light and The Joker is more dramatic and somewhat awards friendly and the people who saw Aquaman won’t probably turn up to see the joker or birds of prey.

Breaking Banter
Hey there everyone,
We're due for another discussion video this week (kind of like the post-Oscars video), so I wanna know what kind of topics you guys are keen on hearing in the future! I've got plenty of my own ideas, but I want to hear about the topics you're interested in hearing my take on.
UPDATE: Should have clarified like I did on Twitter that I won't be doing videos where I list/rank things or just talk about a movie or show, but rather discussing relevant community topics and ideas such as the Netflix debate, fan backlash and the state of film discourse online. Hopefully that will offer a bit more clarity.
Let me know by replying to this post or hitting me up on Twitter @LoverboyMedia
See y'all soon 💗
