The plot seems interesting enough. Even tho the animation style looks fine, I don’t like how generic it looks, especially compared to Friendship is Magic. Nevertheless, I shall still watch it

Animation aside, I'm glad the plot description is a lot less triggering than what was originally teased. Gotta say I'm looking forward to this one

You can easily tell they put a lot of effort to the movie, so I'm super excited to see!! Especially since we actually have sth like a sequel from gen 4 to gen 5 so I'm intrigued 0w0

The lakc of cutie marks actually makes sense if the world had lost its magic. Theoretically, that means once they find and bring back the magic, cutie marks will come back too

I think this will be really cool! The animation style looks like it has improved from those "Hello Pinkie Pie" shorts. Also, everybody, stop saying you dislike it even though you haven't seen the actual movie/series yet. Just wait for it to come out. Everybody can have thier own opinions but still

I like it, it's a big change but still holds a good message. The characters look cute and I think it's nice they are including a boy in the group. I cant wait to see it all

To be honest, I'm fine with the design and the sudden change to 2d from 3d. My only hope is that G5 can take the inspiration from g4 and create stories similar to this one we have today.

Twilight: works hard and unites every creature G5 pony towns: Naw....Division is magic. Wouldnt surprise me if twilight was still princess though, unless this is way farther and something terrible happened for them to form a new government, becausr alicorns live forever.

✨ The Generation 5 of My Little Pony has been officially announced with a movie and a new series coming to Netflix this Fall! ✨
There are also two new stills from the upcoming movie where we can see references to the Mane 6 on the background in the first one. The main characters will be Sunny Starscoat (earth pony from the first screenshot), Izzy (unicorn from the second screenshot), also... a female pegasus and a male earth pony whose names haven't been revealed yet.
Synopsis: In the new movie, the pony world of Equestria has lost its magic. Friendship and Harmony have been replaced by paranoia and mistrust, and Ponies now live separated by species. Sunny -- a feisty and idealistic young Earth Pony -- is convinced there’s still hope for this divided world, but her slightly misguided and often hilarious efforts to change hearts and minds have led to her being branded a misfit. When Sunny befriends a lost Unicorn named Izzy, who wanders innocently into the Earth Pony town of Maretime Bay, the town has had enough. Izzy and Sunny must embark on an epic adventure that will include a daring jewel heist, outrageous conspiracy theories, elaborate musical numbers, and the world’s cutest flying Pomeranian. Their adventures will take them to faraway lands and force them to challenge the status quo by facing their fears and making new friends out of old enemies.
