Really late to this and idk who actually monitors this account. But I got this album on cassette and a small boom box for Christmas in 1992. I was 10 years old, and I listened to that tape until it broke. 32 years later, I still know every lyric of every song on this album. Galileo was my favorite then. But as an adult and having come to understand its meaning and what it addresses, Ask Me is my favorite. It wasn't something I had to endure, but I have friends who have and I have my own trauma I've had to work through. Although none of us are Christian, we've all found a faith and spirituality and learned to forgive ourselves for things that weren't our fault. Ask Me makes me feel feelings of both gratitude and grief. Thank you for it.
