So it looks like this weeks NCBD might be the last one for awhile. Not sure what the future holds for comics. I'm highly doubtful the industry can recover from this.

Same, but again I don't really care for this industry at this point. Some people and a youtuber(so far) don't believe it will shut down soon, which I get but they are not considering the combination of factors going against comic companies in a addition to the incompetent leadership and what businesses would have to do, especially during a crises. I took business class back in high school and worked in customer service long enough to learn how a business operate and change according to the times generally speaking that is. You have to be foolish to just think everything is still fine for the time and not considering any possiblity especially after poor management and serious outside challenges. Businesses must do what they can during hard times but may not always survive.

Yeah. Now I wish the comic book was like it used to be when comics used have good stories and not this trash they mainly write now. Now you have go dig through the trash comics to find anything good.

I hope my local shops can rally, and I'll always buy back issues, but as far as the "mainstream industry" as it stands now? I hope it rots and crumbles and takes everyone involved with it. They treat their fans like trash and insult and degrade and belittle them, and all is well and good with that, until something happens that shows everyone how useless and irrelevant they really are- and then they really start to shriek because they realize the gig is up. And then when that doesn't work and they realize that they can't bully or scare or intimidate or guilt people into coming back, then they want to offer truces and treaties and "let's all play nice"? Fuck them. I don't negotiate with terrorists. I hope they starve in the streets, pencils in one hand, and a half composed tweet on their phone in the other.

Comics are a habit! Considering the quality of the books over the last few years, it's has been habit many of us held on to out of nostalgia for better days. Once we break the practice after a few weeks or months, there will be little incentive to return to the stores buying another relaunch of Captin Marvel $4.99. As Douglas Adams put it so well in the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, "thanks for the fish."
