I could only support the idea of UBI if we weren’t about 21 trillion in debt. As long as that’s the case, it’s dumping more buckets onto a sinking ship.

Depends on the country’s cost of living, job availability, and wealth/population

The number itself is meaningless without inflation, cost of living, or at least exchange values. I believe it's possible to live alone on $1500 at this point in space at this point in time. But the fact is a man should make at least enough to meet thier needs. That differs month to month and city to city, we're talking throughout years and states. It should be what is needed to live comfortably and occasionally treat yourself. It should also be enough to do that while renting or paying mortgage on an average house in your area. Idk the answer, maybe you apply for an amount, and it is evaluated and cut based on cost of living for the applicant at the time/place they reside and maybe the average income applied for weighted to value closer and more recent applications more.

I think that the now way is good Think about it if everyone gets the same salary no one wants to get up from his job maybe for better job And people become lazy to work because they get nothing even they work harder

I say 1000. Enough to scrape by, if necessary, but still motivating Work for additional income.

Inappropriate question. There should not be a universal basic income. People need to work, and aspire to more than they have if they so do. 2 Thessalonians 3 v10. For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. v11. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. v12. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work , and eat their own bread. UBIs destroy a productive society. People need to work.
