Just came from your fb post. I know you said you didn't want pity or baseless compliments so I'm just going to say NO amount of effort is wasted ppl improve at different paces and different ways. Though you may think that you're skills have been stunted because of focusing on multiple aspects, I've heard other artists/animators say they wished they focused on more than one aspect because when they try to focus on the next they're frustrated at how its like their still at step one so you do you and strive for things that will make you feel accomplished but never undermine your hardwork
