I want to try an unmedicated birth at least once, did you have second thoughts about staying unmedicated after the point of no return?

30 plus years ago I didn't get a choice. No nothing. No drugs, epidural, gas, nothing. I was begging for something.

How did you convince the hospital to keep you drug free? Did you also ask them to not cut the placenta until the baby soaked up all the blood it needed?
