I love your channel, it's so wholesome and you really capture the magic of being a kid excited for toys 😁 but yeah I hope you and the family will be able to stay strong even as YouTube favors big budget news and talk show's over the people who made YouTube what it is, simple folks talking about stuff they like with a camera and computer out of their hom

Hey everyone! I have a second Halloween video that I want to release today! We are in the middle of a snow storm here in Illinois and they moved Trick-or-Treating to another day :( I was thinking today 4:30 P.M. C.S.T. would be a good time to release that video. Anyone want to see me make the Witch's Cauldron Cookie Kit? Alyse stops in at the end and I also have a small "Fail" in the process!
On another note, news out today confirms YouTube, in the open source code - was unknowingly showing channels P-Score, video rating and more. Sadly showing why many night time talk shows and news shows end up on the trending tab when they are not getting as much attention as true creators. I say unknowingly, because once the news broke, they turned the open source code off. Or maybe, they did not think someone would figure it out?
Sadly, I think the demise of channels like mine and many others is inevitable. It would take a major change in users watching and much larger more socially influential channels to lead the charge. You do have some say in what they show you. There are three little dots next to a video. If you click that and select "Not Interested" you can limit that type of content.
Dare I say, you can also enjoy the ads they serve you on videos for creators you like to watch :)
