So if you were at today's DECO*27 ONLY karaoke stream, then you might've heard me talk about some kind of Ai Kotoba collab... WELL, IT'S HAPPENING.
I'm going to be doing a mash-up of Aikotoba 1, 2, and 3, and I want my viewers to sing with me! More details can be found on the discord discord.gg/ePEcWMKv. If you don't have discord, please read below for more information!
From now until May 21 1AM EST / May 20 10PM PST / May 21th 2AM JST / 4AM AEDT, we will be accepting submissions that will be edited into a single song.
Details below. -Do your best to record yourself in a quiet environment with minimal echo. -Send files in the .wav file format, or .mp3 if you're unable to make a .wav -Send separate files if you would like to sing a part with overlapping lines. -Your music files should include both your name and the timestamp (The part of the song you're singing your line(s) for) in the name. -Please record yourself based on the instrumental provided below. -Please provide a 500 x 500 px PNG that you would like to represent you. This may be used in the event Neg wishes to make a video out of this. -Send your submission to either negnasu@gmail.com or into #stream-materials-aikotoba-edition
General questions answered by Neg Nasu herself. 1. Do I have to sing the whole song? - no! Pick a few lines you'd like to sing, and send them in.
2. So what's the deal, are we doing Aikotoba 1, 2 or 3 - All of them actually fit really well into the instrumental for aikotoba 3 because it's all the same key and chords. I will be using the instrumental for 3. You can sing either 1, 2 or 3. I'll make it work
3. Wait you're actually doing this wtf - heh.
4. What about adlibs and harmonies? - By all means! If it's a harmony or an adlib though, please label it and timestamp it as such.
5. "Wait, I don't sing well!! Surely you don't want me here?" - (do the opposite of ) SHUT UP. I want you as a part of it!!! Alternatively, if you'd like to draw something for the eventual video instead, you can do so too! The deadline for art related to this project has not been decided yet.
