As someone who was there experiencing all the drama firsthand, it is an absolute shitfest. I can't say I'm too shocked as this is normally what happens with most big name TF2 projects, but it's still a disappointment that it had to end like this.

Drama like this is why Valve is very wary of giving the community a free hand at content making for their IPs. I am incredibly surprised that L4D2's TLS community update went through without any moderate hitches.

After reading 404's comment it really seems to me like he is a narcissistic d-bag especially when he days stuff like "deal with it" "Crybabies" "We dont need to ask for permission" And given the backgrounds of the other moderators‚ it seems to me that the issue with this project was that the moderation team was made up of immature children (or manchildren) who were being defacto lead by a much larger manchild with a youtube channel.

imo 404 does have a point in that "censorship" is pretty common in tf2 servers and there is a big difference in not being allowed to call someone a f** or n*** and fascist level of censorship

Very late comment that prolly wont get any attention but as a former member and content creator for Creators.tf i can safely say that the c.tf community one of the most toxic communities i've ever seen. People often just shittalk each other and the mods barely ever do anything. To anyone reading this, don't join, it's not worth it.

The Creators.tf video I made sparked a lot of attention.
Now let me be clear here and say that I was not involved in the drama behind the scenes personally, and cannot speak for what happened myself.
However I have been reached out to from various characters who were personally involved, many of which having conflicting stories to tell.
There is only one fact I know for certain as of now:
There was an absolute SHIT ton of drama behind the scenes of Creators.tf and that drama affected the quality of the servers, and the general community.
Although I cannot prove this to be the catalyst of Creators.tf reaching its inactive, and frankly dead, current state, It's only fair to conclude it was a major factor.
I will not try and convince you as to who was in the moral right in any of the drama, many of you have very concrete ideas of who was, and although I do have opinions of my own I don't want this channel to go towards the direction of a subjective-based drama channel, featuring my "hot takes" on any such internet events.
Something I wish I took more care in doing in the original video.
That being said, because I value reporting, I will link and showcase opposing views.
You all can come to your own conclusions.
