Surviving Ringworm

In consideration of staying out in the wilderness going forward and continuing to make videos from Ringworm, I've done something rash. Several people over the past few months have asked how I support myself and why I don't have a Patreon page.
I generally answer, "I don't support myself. I am the most frugal guy I know but when the money runs out, I have to leave. And Pateron? I'm just a nut living in the woods with a couple chainsaws and a GoPro. Who'd want to support that?"
But hey, what the heck. I'll try anything once (or 3-4 times if it involves a chainsaw and a minimal amount of forethought.)
So if any of you are interested, have a couch full of nickels and really, really want to keep watching me attempt Surviving Ringworm, feel free to donate a few shekels to the Ringworm Foundation for the Under-Trained Woodsman.
I'd love to stay out here even longer and continue making videos if some of you would be willing to support the (mis-ad)venture!

Thank you!

Ryan

P.S. I'm not 100% sure that Patreon accepts nickels.
P.P.S If they do accept nickels, please know that 5 cents will run a chainsaw for over two minutes. I think...

I like that there are NO benefits! Keep up the desinterest in marketing! The moment you start handing out T-shirts, I'm gone :)

Wife and I love watching your (mis)adventures! We bought some (semi)off-grid land last year, and are doing exactly what you said not to...using examples of things you have done to make things we want. It's a lot harder after a long week at work, but definitely worth it! Keep up the awesome videos Ryan!

More then happy to donate. Why shouldn't you get paid for the work you put into making videos for our entertainment.

Hi Ryan, I'm sure many of your YouTube followers (myself included) missed seeing you on Saturday and are wondering if you got the MRI and how your back is doing.

Ryan. I just wanted you to know that you have been a big source of inspiration for myself. I grew up on a farm in southern Ontario, Canada and worked in many trades position and even built wind turbines all over Canada for some time. I have suffered severe head trauma over the years and have had to take an early retirement at 49 years old. I have moved to northern Ontario and am living in a brand new Off Grid community where I have a half acre of land. I took 3 and a half months and built myself a tiny house trailer and drove it 9 hours to the site. I continue to gather inspiration from your videos and am a huge fan. Your attitude, sense of humor and work ethic make me believe we would get along well. I have taken your lead and am living the life of true struggle. But the struggle is what it is all about. Feeling alive and in the wilderness away from the current realities of society. Contentment and true happiness are my reward. Thank you for continuing to put out amazing content. Hope the back is better. All the best my man! Jason

Hello from the uk, I have a rare form of skin cancer in which I will lose my ears but I randomly found your channel and have started from the beginning with your videos and they really are a good type of medicine. I’m really enjoying watching you build stuff. Keep going and enjoy yourself because sometimes life deals you a bad hand when you least expect it

I found 7 nickels in the couch and became inspired. I looked around a little more. I gathered all of my orphaned nickels plus a couple dimes and quarters. I don't do Patreon so I sent them to you via PayPal a few weeks ago. I'm hoping that you will piss the money away on frivolous stuff (or on food and gas.) I enjoy your videos Ryan. Keep it up as long as you're having fun!
