Ham Radio In Action

Just over 7 months ago, I posted my first video on this channel. Today the channel will get its 10,000th subscriber. Incredible! I got really lucky with my 2nd video when the algorithm promoted it to a wider audience. I enjoy the process of creating these videos, but most of all I enjoy ham radio. Thank you to everyone that has subscribed, watch, liked and commented on my videos. The best part of this experience has been the people who commented that they were inspired by my videos and got their license.

@Baker-tx7yg

I bought a couple BAOFENG radios for emergencies a few months back. I did not know about licensing or pretty much anything else for that matter. I'm a retired Marine, so I know how important comm can be in a tight situation and that's why I got them. Glad I found your channel. Gonna get my license soon I hope. No telling when I'll be able to with this COVID Virus going around though. I'm learning a lot from you sir and I just wanted to say thanks !! New Subscriber.

Have you had a chance to compare the uv-5 and the f8 models?

@chrismcvicar688

I ordered the Boafeng UV r5 before I saw the video on Spurious emissions, now what? Is it ok to keep or should I return them?
