Hi everyone, thanks for bearing with me on the next parts of Quantum Break and Half-Life.
It was my intention to get the next Half-Life video out before the next part of Quantum Break, but the next Half-Life video has proven to be a very big project. I'm therefore considering switching over to finishing the next Quantum Break video and putting that out first, just so that there isn't too long a wait till my next piece of content.
"Unforeseen Consequences", the first chapter of Half-Life set after the disaster, has a lot crammed into it. We are introduced to 5 types of enemy, each of which have a number of interesting behaviours to show off. We gain 3 weapons, 2 of which behave differently in earlier versions of Half-Life compared to later patches. (Of course I'm including footage from both old and new versions of Half-Life to demonstrate this.) There are several alternate routes and alternative ways of getting past obstacles. Plus there are one or two differences between the PC and PS2 version.
As my intention for this series is for it to be the definitive guide to Half-Life, I am covering all these aspects in a great amount of detail.
On the upside, there will also be a blooper/outtake reel of various recording attempts where things do not go to plan, including scripted sequences failing, nonsensical remarks by NPCs, bizarre behaviour, and me messing up and getting myself killed.
