Pask Makes

This is what I’m working on at the moment. I have no need for a wooden plane propeller but after seeing them in a museum I couldn’t resist trying to make one! 😊

Wooden plane props are definitely a thing of beauty - looking forward to watching the process! I was once lucky enough to be allowed to 'home' briefly one blade of an old Hurricane propellor... I was really upset when they wanted it back!!

As an aircraft mechanic I am seriously looking forward to watching this video!

We will happily watch a long long video where you make a replica prop plane from scrap wood mate. That'd be such a good video.

This is awesome, you make some of the coolest things and I love how you do it with such skill and passion. I would love to have just half of the talent that you have. That being said, this propeller would be awesome as a ceiling fan...in my opinion.

Would be a cool prop for a ceiling fan for the workshop!

Can't wait...love the science of fluid dynamics and lift and drag coefficients...will be a fun spin on things made from wood. ;-P Thanks Neil!

Awesome! When I was a teenager I was into carving small (largest was about 12 in diameter)model airplane props of all different designs. I had a bench mounted motor I would do testing on. I also built a prop driven RC car.(think airboat style with wheels). Not sure how I ended up getting into it but it was fun and I learned a lot about fluid dynamics in the process! Would be very cool as a wall hanger, but freakin awesome to see a working windmill that powers something
