Thank you David for your support to the gamedev community throughout these years! You've taken the right decision, looking after yourself is the most important thing, and if making games is what makes you happy and the reason you started this project, you should spend as much time possible doing it. There will always be people demanding your help, but the only people who deserve your time 24/7 is your family. Even if you stay away from social media try to keep us posted from time to time about this new game you have started and good luck!

Thank you for sharing your story and being honest. Don't feel bad, you can't save the whole world, no single person can, so don't feel bad. You have done enough for the community. Set expectations, with the success of The First Tree, it's unlikely your next game will do better, statistically, so expect that - if it does - it's a bonus :) I wish you luck and look forward to when you post an update, but I don't expect it, so don't feel pressured to post if you don't want to.
