Corlys Velarion's casting makes sense to me, also adds an interesting bit of potential to the story! The people of the Summer Isle are said to be some of the greatest sailors it would be a very beneficial marriage. They both have great sea fairing roots, and I could see a substantial benefit to having a marriage between the high born between both cultures. I can't wait to see how this affects the story, their swan ships, are practically spoken of as legendary vessels so I hope we get to see more of their culture! My biggest concern though is weather or not Mushroom is in the show, I fear they shall cut him... :(

So far I’m liking that Daemon’s wig doesn’t look like Viserys’ from Game of Thrones lol. Definitely an improvement

Unless HBO is letting this serve as precursor to a reboot of the main series, then I don’t see the point in making the prequel. Side note: I hope they do the iron throne as described in the book. Give me that at least.

Idk.....I hope it's really good, it's just that I've been burned far too many times with movies, tv series, and even video games like The Last Of Us Part II, I fear this one will too. Hearing that Amazon wants to make Silmarillion like Game Of Thrones which I am very sad about, the last season of Game Of Thrones was a total disappointment...hearing that George is behind in his writing for Winds of Winter, yet he is making prequels and some that are not even finished, writing a new fantasy novel with another author and his new Wild Cards book. I understand he is busy. ☹😞
