Hi Cindy, love your videos. Just wanted to thank you first because your videos helped sooo much!! I got my transplant on July 15, 2019!! And my donor was also my cousin💕 Also wanted to ask how long was the recovery for your cousin? Did she have any gas pain from surgery? How are her lab results after surgery? Did your kidney start working right away after surgery? And how long after surgery did your creatinine start decreasing and what’s your creatinine now? Sorry I know there’s a lot of question 😬 God bless you and your Cousin

I have one kidney, and when you get a transplant when your kidney fails do you have to change your diet? Or can you still eat normal.

I recently became a donor! Can you share on how your donor knew about your condition, how she offered to donate her kidney?

Hello to both of you wonderful ladies!! Is peritoneal dialysis better for the body than through the vascular system? Were you given a choice??

I’m in the process of being tested to hopefully be a donor!! How was everything post-op.. like getting back to normal? I’m trying to figure out what I can expect as far as diet and exercise. Also, were there any odd “complications” that could have prevented the donation? I just found out that I have a double ureter on one side and that one is 2cm larger than the other, yet neither considered “small”. I’m nervous that I might not be able to donate 😔
