I have an upright. I resigned to vacuum sealing. Otherwise it does dry things. Lost my chest freezer in a flood. Didn’t know about the drying out thing when I bought it.

I also have one of each.. I live in the country my fav is my New Frigidaire upright 22.5 cu ft she a big girl and holds alot

I have a small chest freezer and a British fridge freezer. Had a large chest freezer until mice in my garage decided it was delicious 😯
