If you’ve seen our review of the Wooden Balancing Doggies we got through Etsy (https://youtu.be/8egxLfbDYX0), I want to give you an update:
We thought they had such a nice and natural, unvarnished finish – with a woodfire fragrance too! But my kids wanted to paint some and it became a bit of an art project. They ended up painting all but 1 of the 25 pieces!
We used non-toxic water-based acrylic paints and then applied a beeswax coating over the top. The doggies turned out really great, and now the kids are even more excited to play with them!
