Thank you for this. Its absolutely beautiful and I’m in tears. It’s so exhausting to continue waking up in a world that doesn’t want to see you alive. It’s exhausting just fighting and screaming to get basic rights and respect as a human being. Non-poc will never understand the true fear of police and the generational ptsd passed from the institutionalized racism from our governments. As a black woman, to see people run down people who look like me for YEARS, whether that be through history books or right down the street, just because the look like me. It’s terrifying and exhausting. I hate to see independently owned businesses run to the ground but, you know what, I hate seeing my people get modern-day lynched, mob murdered and harassed even more. It’s so devastating because you know what, that could have been me. I could have been Sandra Bland, Trayvon Martin or Ahmad Arbery. I’ve been terrified to leave my house even before this pandemic and I shouldn’t be. I’m just sick and tired of being sick and tired. And if setting the city I was born and raised in ablaze is going to make me heard, then so be it.

This is a beautiful drawing! Getting the word out there, and even I have had my problems with the recent fires and protestors, though the protestors are amazing and should be out there. and rest in peace George Floyd, your death will never be forgotten...

While this is a GREAT message, there are some aggressive protesters in my town burning down historical landmarks and trashing the place :( I've been told that the officer in question is being arrested and fired, but I don't know how true that is. I just hope they stop destroying things
