So that leaves us with 8 extra strings? And there are 4 boots, meaning two players? Google autocomplete suggests the second instrument might be a mandolin or an eight-string guitar? Somehow I'm more inclined to associate you with the 8-string guitar. (And I assume you recounted the piano-strings ;) )
