There is a rat problem at Fletcher High School. It has gotten worse over the last three years since construction started and abruptly stopped. Rats have been seen running across the pipes in the hallways. Teachers come in from the weekend to either find dead rats in traps or that the "rats had a field day" in their rooms. Yes, the exterminator has been called but all they do is put out traps, which leads to an abhorrent smell when the rat dies. Teachers can hear the rats running through the ceiling. It causes a disturbance with the students. People, students and teachers, are constantly on edge about whether they will see a rat. Last year, during AICE testing there was a rat in one of the testing rooms. The students who are at the school for late practices often see rats in the hallways. It is unhealthy, especially in the environments where students eat. The teachers and students deserve better.

I was assaulted in ICU by 2 nurses. Everyone was aware, and no one did anything. I made a police report. I guess because of my color and back ground no one is interested. To be traumatized from a near fatal car accident, traumatized by the people that are supposed to be caring for you. Later I was traumatized by my trauma therapist. It just keeps happening. I worked in the medical field for 28 years and I have never ever treated anyone the way that I've been treated.
