We wear slippers in my house, as a respectful act towards others. When people come over they can chose to wear slippers we have for guests that we wash, they can bring their own, or they have to wear socks.

In Germany, we have carpet slippers. So it's pretty normal to wear them inside your house. Depending on the material which the floor ist made of you can also walk barefoot.

I feel like something is definitely wrong if you're wearing shoes in your own home.

I hate being barefoot so I wear house slippers inside, the only times I walk anywhere without shoes on is when I'm showering or swimming. When I go to bed my slippers are right there in front of my bed waiting for me lmao.

I only wear shoes inside cause I somehow always find missing push pins, legos, glass from dishes that have broken in the past, etc. Yall I live in a house with six people three of which are my younger siblings I’m gonna find stuff throughout the house no matter what lmao Okay yall when I say glass and toys I mean the smallest piece of glass possible from a dish broken months ago that just shows up and it’ll be like one toy that I step on because it was missed when cleaning. My house isn’t a huge mess lmao, I just happen to be the one who always steps on them.

My brother does and it’s become a pet peeve of mine; the only exception is if it’s a party and someone vomited on the floor, then wear shoes

As an Indonesian, i only wear shoes when i have to meet someone or go to a mall, even then i don't always wear em. It's downright offensive when you wear shoes in someone else's home. Sandals for the win 😂
