I'm writing a book! I pitched it two weeks ago, I signed the deal last week, and I am already head first into writing and recipe testing. ⠀

To be honest, this was not at all what I thought would be on my plate this year! I had all kinds of plans for tons of live workshops. And I've been so sad that doesn't look like it is coming back very soon. ⠀

It's funny how things happen when they're supposed to happen. I have had this book concept rolling around in my head for years. I've always said "I'll probably write it someday. I could always self-publish it when I'm ready." But I've never been in a hurry. So when I got the opportunity to pitch it to someone, I thought "Why not? Just see what happens." ⠀

I wrote a 20 page proposal in a day. It literally just spilled out of me. It's exactly the book I want to write. ⠀
I have been teaching baking techniques and approachable baking science online for almost 9 years. It’s a wonderful medium to connect with people from all over the world. But it is a more difficult way to guide a new baker (or an experienced baker who is just eager to learn more) through a wide range of topics sequentially. And that is what I aim to do with this book. ⠀

It won't be coming out until late 2021, which I know feels far away. But I want you to come on this journey with me. You are the reason I have this opportunity. I can't wait to share the finished product with you!
