cosmolar thanks, you too. ^^ i get what you said, just didn't like that you were so upset but now i see why and i get it. personally i would never wear a dress, or overly feminine things. but i would wear feminine things and keep the more femininity to myself ( aka private ). i don't like dresses or skirts especially not in public so. i don't believe if anyone who is ftm and dresses overly feminine in a public environment with pride and happiness has that much dysphoria. i would wear a little bit of more feminine clothes outside on public, but not " overly " ( well, just more feminine than what i would wear in public. not overly feminine, i don't really wear dresses. i might wear a skirt or a yk in private. but that itself would be very rare. ) feminine. i think you get what i mean? well basically i don't wear overly feminine things out in public with pride is what i'm saying. only a normal amount or yk. i'd never wear overly revealing clothes in public. ( shorts yes ) only in private. that's just weird to me plus i'm sensitive.

(I know this is 4 months late, and I don't usually like commenting on a statuss or a posts that are already from months ago but I feel like I really need to say this) I-I'm sorry,, but I disagree with you, a 100% Now, I know I probably didn't know better myself since I'm a cis, asexual person. So I may not know better than most other trans people on experiencing on how being uncomfortable with your body is like. However, I do have a few trans mutual and followed some trans people, and if they see post like these, they would get really mad- because they would say that you NEED a dysphoria to be trans. Gender dysphoria is, a feeling, a mental illness, where you're extremely uncomfortable with your body. From pronounce to clothing choices. And if you're diagnosed with one, then yes, you're trans. But as for the clothing choice, of course, it entirely depends. For example, I do genuinely wish to have more boyish clothes, and I don't because my mom is usually the one chose for me, which has started to bore me because I have become less and less interested in overly feminine stuff. But does that mean I'm a trans person?? NO. I'm already proud of my own gender, and I never really care enough or question myself to have a dick honestly. So no, I'm NOT trans. ... What bother me the most is that you just seems to comfortably said, "I'm fine having a vagina" which I assure you, most trans people I know/knew WON'T AND WILL NEVER SAY THAT. I knew someone who just recently become a transgirl a few months ago, and she would complain a lot about her hairy arms and legs, she also started to have different interest since then, so at least I can confirm that. Yeah sure, not all transgender people transitioned and want to have one, but they are NOT anywhere would say "I don't mind how my biological body is like". The thing about trans people is that, they do acknowledge their biological gender, yes they're aware of that, however they're NOT comfortable with it. They DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO REMIND THEM ABOUT THAT. And I'm,, sorry, I hate saying this because I know it probably sounds transphobic as fuck, but if you're comfortable with how your biological body is, then you're not,,, trans. You're cis person. And like someone else said, please, get off tumblr.

doesn't the dysphoria come from being called by the wrong pronouns though

exactly. i'm a trans male who actually likes to wear more feminine things ( not dresses tho ) but you get my point, i like pink, i like pastel, etc but it doesn't change the fact that you are who you are

Let me tell you something
As a trans person
I can certainly say that
Trans people DON'T NEED dysphoria to be trans
I see this misunderstanding in a lot of videos
Yes, a Trans man can use feminine clothes
Because it doesn't make them less than a man
By saying that trans people need dysphoria, you are basically saying that trans man/women aren't real man/women
Imagine if a cis man used a dress
Does that make them less than a man?
Or a Cis women using more masculine clothes
Does that make her less than a women?
No, it doesn't
So why is it different for trans people
Even for non binary trans, gender fluid and such
There isn't a dysphoria who applies to genders like these two
But they're still valid, like binary trans people are too
So stop spreading this lie that "all thrans people need dysphoria or else you're not a real trans"
Most of people who say this are cis who clearly don't understand how a trans life works
Thank you for listening
