At the risk of sounding in awe of your greatness, You Dudes are far and away my favorite online tyers & teachers!! I enjoy your fly tutorials even more than your fishing trips! Even though I have been tying for over 55 years, I have learned so much from the 3 of you!!! I am pretty much a self taught tyer and fly fisher which probably means I'm doing a lot wrong in the eyes of real experts but I totally enjoy what I'm doing anyway! Since I starting with all natural materials I am now learning so much about synthetics and their uses from you which is really helpful to the style of fishing I mostly do now. Although I grew up in the north and learned to flyfish in the Eastern lakes, streams and rivers I now (like lots of old geezers) live in Florida. The Nature Coast of Florida were I moved after my wife of 37 years decided didn't want to be married anymore! So now instead living on a farm paying for her horses, I now live a mile from a lake where 10lb bass are common and 5 miles to the mouth of the Withlacoochee River and some of the best inshore fishing in the state!! My favorite gamefiah is without a doubt the mighty Snook! Yes they are this far north on the west coast of Fla. This is the reason I am enjoying learning about synthetics from you Maniacs!!! With my age has come a host of ailments from my young crazy years (The "Just say Yes" Years!) I won't bore you with all the sad details but with them I can no longer cast the big rods very long anymore. About #7 weight is as high as I can throw and still bring in a good fish. The light synthetic streamers make a huge difference in my casting also! In closing I'll say I hope the rantings of a old crusty flyfisher from Fla. hasn't bored Y'all too much if you do read this?? It would be a dream come true if I was ever able to fish with one or all of you!!! Being Big famous fly guys I guess the possibility of this happening are pretty slim but if you ever find yourself down this way and would like to try longrodding for Snukez, baby tarponz, redfeeshz, sea troutz, triplletailz, Spanish or King Mac'z, Cobia'z, Huge Black Drumz, Big Jackz, ladyfeesh, shallow gag groupa (yes on fly), Largemouth Bassis, gar, mudfeesh, crappies, brimz and lots of others I forgot!! You always have an open invite with me on my 19' Carolina Skiff. They don't call this place the Nature Coast for nothing!!! Check out Yankeetown Fl. Again thanks for sharing all your skills, knowledge and all around awesomeness with guyz like me!!! Tight linez to Yuze Gize (Yea, I'm orig. from New Joisey, but went from Yuze to Y'all! Your faithfull fan & 67y/o groupie, Snook Spanker Pete

First, it needs to be said that your channel, website, and phone customer service set a new high watermark for not only fly fishing but any organization. there are so many, too many videos out there that are thinly veiled sales pitches with no real field trials or in-depth field experience backing their opinions up. That is clearly not the case with FFF. Your tying videos are so helpful, done at a pace that I can generally keep up with, and have all the materials detailed in the description as hyperlinks to your website. Some may not like that, however, I choose to see it as a service provided to us for ease of procurement of the right materials. Well done. There are so many great videos available to us from your staff. One of the key themes and my 2022 personal goal is to be much more effective and efficient with my tools, flies, and gear on the water to optimize my catch rate. Looking back at the last several trips on the stream, I have tried to see what actions or lack of preparation, have caused me to stop casting or actively fishing. Rigging. Hands down, rigging. Rigging is being defined as anything I am doing to adjust my setup rather than casting on the water. I need to be a little more specific. I can aptly tie all the knots needed and mentioned in your videos. I can follow your euro leader recipes off stream. So where do I need help? You get a bird's nest, do I untangle, or trash and rig up a spare pre-tied? How many pre-tied leaders do you carry? Do their formulas vary much? What tippets do you carry and when do you go down in tippet size on the stream? Do you have several tippet dropper rigs pre-tied and ready? If so, how do you store them? If you are working a spot, you're not catching, what is your thought process for adjusting your approach? Do I go down in tippet? If so, how do I add that to my existing leader system or do I just pull out a full new euro leader? Do I change patterns? Do I change the fly's size? Do I change the fly's weight? Do I change the fly's color? Do I move? How long does one fish a spot before you start to make changes to your approach and then after you move to the next spot? I found great value in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOETmD23UUw&t=384s Generally, I organize my flies, by type of fly or body of water. However, how do you optimally organize your euro jig boxes to be efficient once on the water? Do I keep all the same patterns together and sort by weight and/or hook size and/or color? OR Do I put all the 4.0 mm beads in a box, 3.5 mm in another, 3.0 mm in a third, etc? How does one organize all their flies so you can easily and quickly locate and tie on your anchor flies tag flies, etc.? Maybe a few pics of everyone's euro jig boxes? If we weren't a 5-hour flight from you, a guided trip and a few hours spent at the shop could answer and address all these issues I am sure. Again, nice job!

I think Euro Nymphing can be adopted for Drifting on rivers as well. Since the Boat and Line are most likely moving at the same rate - I thought maybe - this technique would work well.
