Right tools and patterns is the what we need,, the ones who don't find time for leather working are those who doesn't have enough passion!!

I have a plethora of patterns and time but very little leather. But I am making progress. My small meager business is creating existing things for others. However, another part of my business is product creation. This is my favorite part of my business. Because it allows me to come up and be totally honest in my creativity process and developement for others. I think the most frustrating thing in this process is the fact that I don't always have the leather at hand to do those projects that others want me to do. And I always have to wait. This last year I had lost my regular job and found myself in a situation where I had to rely on my meager circumstances. But that was not enough. Now I am getting back into the groove. Thank you for being awesome and giving me some new ideas and creating my spark.

the most frustrating for me is finding new ideas to make somethings radically different than other leather crafters. I've try something different like full desk leather lamp and searching for new ideas ^^

Making items with multiple leather thicknesses...I've struggled to find a way to effectively thin 4-5 oz leather down to 2-3 oz that isnt incredibly time consuming and tedious

Wanting to start my own leather business, but it seems like everyone else has the same idea. Is there too much competition to even both?
