Who do you think should win the Epic App Store Battle?

@FERTUHG

They all are in it for themselves. Why should we care?Every company wants more money, that's the point of company.

Epic would do the same thing, if someone broke their Epic Launcher rules, the hypocrisy is truly staggering. Go go Apple ๐ŸŽ

I am on Epic's side on this one, it will be a great win for the industry to smash the 30% cut Apple and Google take from small developers, sure, bigger ones will also benefit for it'll lower the cost for everyone. I hope they win

The only thing i game on is my PS4 pro. But I still want to see apple to go down on many issues, not just this one. Right to repair is a major one for me that Apple is fighting so hard

If other developers would back Epic, they might have a say but them alone won't do anything. It could actually be an opportunity for another developer to replace Epic's good spot. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚

Why are so many people supporting Apple? Imagine me taxing you 30% of your income, then you have to pay your actual taxes. You get like 50% of the money people give you.

Hope epic wins so Apple is forced to loosen their grip and allow xcloud through.

@Raztnu

I would love Epic to win, because this way they're going to lay the way for others to fight apples monopoly.

@kunalpradhan6166

If epic wins, everyone wins and only apple loses. If apple wins everyone loses and only apple wins. Don't know why people are still siding with apple.

The thing that I love is that Gafam and big companies do not or do pay very minor taxes in all countries they are implemented, but when a smaller conpany that work with them try to get around taxes, they do get severe penalties. In other terms, big companies are more powerful than entire countries and all you can do is shutting your dawn mouth. (Neither one of these two companies is right though)

I don't know what to think. Obviously neither mega-corp fighting over money is the good guy. I'm not familiar with Fortnite's in-game economy, but if that 30% savings is seen ACROSS THE BOARD on all of their microtransactions, you could make the case that they're being the more consumer-friendly entity.

Can I put "none of them"? I want Apple to be forced to allow side-loading because it's otherwise clearly a rent-seeking monopoly, but at the same time, Epic should rightfully be punished for hiding rule-breaking features during the review process only to roll them out after the app has been approved, because that's straight up malware payload practice.

@daasguy99

There should be a forth option. I donโ€™t get anything out of their debacle.

@tomteti

Apple should allow side loading if the user wants to risk going outside of the app store
